Current Status

  1. Currently fetching litigation data for past 10 years

  2. Data available from 2014 to 2024

Currently the fetching of the data is done for the past 10 years, for example the Supreme Court was established in 1937 and we have the data for the last 10 years only i.e. 2014-24.

New Requirement

  1. Extend data coverage to 15 years (2010-2024)

  2. Additional period to be covered: 2010-2013 (4 years)

The new requirement is to extend the data fetching period to 15 years for all the courts.

For updation, creation of blocks needs to be done as mentioned in District Court Documentation in data storing paragraph.

Fetching with respect to entity,

Current Challenge

  1. Currently fetching data for period (15 years) for all entities

  2. Processing of data before entity's existence

  3. Increased response time due to redundant searches

New Approach

  1. Fetch entity's incorporation/establishment date first:

  2. CIN

  3. MSME

  4. Start data fetching from:

  5. Entity's date of incorporation/establishment

  6. Skip data before entity's existence

Benefits

• Reduced response time

• More efficient data processing

• Elimination of irrelevant data searches

• Optimized resource utilization

Example

If Entity X was established in 2015:

• Skip searching years 2010-2014

• Start data collection from 2015

• Continue till present (2024)
